Summary and Next Year

The 13th Filmfest Hamburg welcomed (and hosted) 270 directors, actors, producers, and screenplay authors from Germany, Denmark, Palestine, the USA, Spain, Israel, Argentina, Great Britain, Columbia, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Burkina Faso, Belgium, Canada, Austria, China, Tunisia, Finland, Iran, Italy, and Norway. All 113 films from 34 countries were first-time screenings in Germany and were, in some cases, European or world premieres. There were 600 German as well as international accredited attendees, and 58 people worked for the festival to ensure its success.
