Every once in a while a film reviewer gets a bonus: a truly funny comedy. Not all comedies are really funny; this is one is – one of the best I have seen in years. The plot in a few words: five women and their long and deeply felt friendships are confronted with some unusual events, including a dead man, a male prostitute they did or didn’t hire for the evening, and some cops who aren’t and one who is. It’s complicated. But with all the complications it is hilariously funny, very smart, with great dialogue and even a message about friendship. What could be better? This is a film you don’t want to miss. (Adele Riepe)
