The chaotic Héloise (Sandrine Kiberlain) is a mother of three running a restaurant in the middle of Paris. The children are almost grown up. Her youngest daughter Jade (Thaïs Alessandrin) is about to finish her last year of school and wants to study in Canada. Suddenly, the very efficient and self-assured business woman gets paranoid. Her “baby” is about to leave the house! Tender memories of baby-years are popping up in flashbacks and she finds it difficult to come to grips with the prospect of an “empty nest”. But luckily, she has her smart phone. Constantly she is now following Jade around the house filming her. Jade is surprisingly patient but draws the line when sitting on the toilet or when her boyfriend comes visiting. Reluctantly, even Héloise understands this.

The other children, Théo (Victor Belmondo) and Lola (Camille Claris), are making jealous remarks like, “you never took photos of us or making such a fuzz”. For Jade it is no easy decision to go, leaving her new boyfriend behind. “But if I don't go now, I never will”, are her words. Héloise's smartphone gets lost and she breaks down in tears: her souvenirs are gone! Immediately, all three children combine in the effort of an iPhone hunt through Paris at night. In the end, Hélioise realizes that she does not need silly photos as a keepsake. She feels surrounded by her family's unconditional love and understanding. Nothing will be lost but she too will gain her freedom and perhaps will be able to start dating again.

Lisa Azuelos is not only the director but also wrote the script of this warm-hearted family comedy. Any parent will relate to most of the situations which can be frustrating as well as funny. Her own daughter, Taïs Alessandrin, shines convincingly in her first major role. Together with film mother Sandrine Kiberlain and siblings, played by Camille Claris and Victor Belmondo, they reflect a strong and positive bond. (Birgit Schrumpf)
